Chapter nine

Chapter 9: Adara

I shrieked, as a young scientist, with golden hair, approached me with a shot, filled with thick red liquid. I jumped back and he sighed. I didn’t think I could use my powers in this situation, so I kneed him where it hurt. He crouched over, groaning in pain. He cursed loudly. I kicked the side of his knee, knocking him to the ground. Three other scientists, ran into the room, holding the shots and tasers. I sighed deeply, knowing I couldn’t win this one. I tried my best, kicking and punching where I could, but failed: One of them tasered me. I screamed bloody murder and fell to the ground.
Everyone came in, and started using their powers against them. I was almost out and barely felt someone pick me up and start running. I blacked out.
