Chapter 7: Nicole

My eyes slowly drifted open and I moaned, I felt like I was going to throw up. I started shaking uncontrollably with anger and fear when I saw them un-chain Adara and drag her away. She was still out from that junk they were pumping into our veins. “Wh-What …” I swallowed, attempting to get the lump out of my throat. “What are you going to do to her?” I asked them weakly. “We’re going to take her to the safety containment cells.” A stocky blonde-haired scientist answered. “That’s where we keep the dangerous ones.” A tall skinny scientist with wide rimmed glasses that magnified his eyes like ten times grinned and said. “Before we run y’all through mazes like the rodents you are.” I glared at him. He shrugged his shoulders and they drug Adara away. “We…gotta do something” I was starting to get tired. “Maybe one of the stronger ones like, Storm or Nicole or Ethan, would be strong enough to get out.” Kaylin suggested. “Yeah, that’s a good idea but I…”
I couldn’t hear anything else. Then everything went black.
