Chapter 25

Seeing Kichi getting taken away had really downed our spirits. Sitting in the cellophane stuff, we sat around the room half asleep. I couldn’t think very well due to the cellophane (or at least I hoped it was from the cellophane) and I was exausted. I finally came to my senses as a woman in a lab coat came in and took Adara out the door. I stood up, which was hard in the cellophane and made it out the door before it closed. The black wall were menacing as if someone was about to spring at you at any second. They contradicted with the smooth white tile, which had recently been waxed. Surprisingly, I wasn’t seen until halfway down the hallway when someone jumped out behind me and slashed at me with a knife. I fell over and realized that my cellophane was laying on the floor next to me. Looking up, I saw a boy about 15, with blonde hair and blue eyes holding out his hand. I grabbed it and stood up.
“Where’s Alina?” he questioned.
“I d-don’t k-know, they took her away from us. Who are you?”
“Well, my names Alec, and it’s a long story, I’ll have to tell you later.”
With that, we walked down the hallway, with no intention as to where we were going
