Chapter 26
Storm
Seeing Kichi getting taken away had really downed our spirits. Sitting in the cellophane stuff, we sat around the room half asleep. I couldn’t think very well due to the cellophane (or at least I hoped it was from the cellophane) and I was exhausted. I finally came to my senses as a woman in a lab coat came in and took Adara out the door. I stood up, which was hard in the cellophane and slipped out the door before it closed. The black walls were menacing as if someone was about to spring at you at any second. They contradicted with the smooth white tile, which had recently been waxed. Surprisingly, I wasn’t seen until halfway down the hallway when someone jumped out behind me and slashed at me with a knife. I fell over and realized that my cellophane was lying on the floor next to me. Looking up, I saw a boy about 15, blond hair smoothed against his head, holding out his hand. I grabbed it and stood up.
“Do you know a girl named Alina? Do you know where she would be?” he questioned, his blue eyes were filled with worry.
“I d-don’t k-know, they took her away from us. Who are you?”
“Well, my names Alec, and it’s a long story, I’ll have to tell you later.”
With that, we walked down the hallway with no intention of where we were headed.
