Chapter twenty nine

Chapter 29
Alec
The boy called Ethan seemed on edge. He turned left, and left again, unsure of the true location, we were in the office section of the building. We wandered aimlessly for a bit, until he stopped in front of a large metal door. Once we had opened the lock (apparently Ethan was a talented lock-picker) Ethan tore across the room. He morphed into a giant lion and pinned down on of the other boys. The lion was thrown across the room as the boy stood up; he was no more than 15, and disappeared from view.
“You want to have problems? I suggest you not try that again.” The voice seemed to come from thin air, from where the kid had disappeared. Then I looked at the faces of the others, Storm!!! She raced over to me and scooped her up in a hug, though I was only two years older than her.
“I missed you.” She blinked off a tear. I smiled and looked over her, inspecting the rest of the group. My eyes caught a girl, she was beautiful. Her red hair gleaming in the faded light, her blue eyes boring into mine. I never believed in love at first sight, I was never a real big believer in love, but now I could hear the bells going off. I felt dizzy just looking at her, I felt exhilarated. Storm noticed my absent minded glance, so she introduced all of her friends. The girl’s name was Kichi, the prettiest name I had ever heard. It confused me though, I thought my reunion with Storm would be a little more sentimental, but now it seemed as though the only thing in the world that mattered was Kichi. Now one question buzzed through my mind, was I going to make the first move.
“Alec, are you okay?” Storm said distressed, a jealous vibe was wafting off of her. I nodded and elbowed her shoulder like I always used to, “Lighten up Storm, just getting used to all the new faces.”
I was really thinking how I was getting used to one face, an amazing face that I never wanted to leave. A voice sounded inside my head, Oh. I was shocked; at first I thought Kichi had said it aloud. You’re not to bad looking yourself. She was beaming at me, and when I looked over at her she winked. I had a girlfriend, just like that.
